FORKcast is the first thing we built for players to actually use, and it is up now at forkcast.forked.gg. The idea is simple. Something is about to happen in a game, a match, a stream, a run, and you think you know how it lands. FORKcast lets you say so, back it, and get scored on whether you were right.
How it works
Every account starts with a grant of points. You never buy them, you never deposit anything, and there is no way to cash them out. They are a scorekeeping tool, nothing more. When a market opens, you put points into the outcome you believe in.
Markets settle as pari-mutuel pools. Everyone who backed a side shares the pool, and when the result comes in, the points get paid out across the people who called it correctly. Back the right outcome when the crowd is leaning the other way and you earn more. Follow the pack into an obvious call and you earn less. The board rewards reading the room, not just being right.
FORKcast runs on points, not money. There is no deposit, no wager against your bank, and nothing to withdraw. It is a game of calls and a leaderboard, built so anyone can jump in without risk.
Why we started here
A prediction engine is the cleanest way to show what Forked is about. It puts players at the center, it runs in the open, and it gives the community a reason to show up every day and argue about what happens next. It is also the front door for everything else we are building. The markets, the leaderboard, and the record of who called what all feed the same ecosystem.
What comes next
This is the opening move. From here we are wiring FORKcast into the rest of the platform, connecting it to the Forked community, and hardening the record behind every market so the results are provable and not just claimed. Those pieces landed over the following days, and we wrote them up as they shipped.
If you want to try it, open FORKcast, take your points, and call your first market. Then come tell us in Discord how it went.
